A "gum lift" was performed to
lengthen teeth. To create a more harmonious smile, the old
crowns were replaced with new all-ceramic crowns and bonding
was used to recontour the shape of the adjacent teeth.

To create a natural, uniform look,
the six front teeth were recontoured and resculpted with the
use of directly applied composite bonding rather than
porcelain. This is a good illustration of how bonding alone
can be used to create a beautiful smile.

them. This procedure gave the patient a smile line that
naturally follows the curvature of her lower lip.
